Cookie Notice
Effective: August 9, 2026
Hunt currently uses only storage needed to authenticate users, secure requests, preserve interface state, and complete user-requested Google/Firebase sign-in. Hunt does not currently use advertising cookies or optional behavioral analytics cookies.
Hunt session cookie
__Host-hunt_session is a host-only, encrypted-transport, HttpOnly authentication cookie. It lets the server recognize a signed-in browser, can be revoked in Settings, expires after seven days at most, and expires after 24 hours without activity. The browser cannot read it with JavaScript.
Browser storage
Hunt uses session storage for short-lived Google sign-in state and local storage to remember that this notice was acknowledged. These values do not track activity across unrelated websites. Interface drafts may be held in page memory while a form is open.
Authentication providers
Google and Firebase may use necessary cookies or local storage when you choose their authentication or phone-verification features. Their processing is governed by their notices. Hunt does not load optional Google Analytics tracking.
Your controls
You may block or delete cookies through your browser, but signing in and protected account features will not work without the Hunt session cookie. If Hunt later introduces optional analytics or advertising storage, it will be off until the legally required choice is provided.
